That wasn't chicken

Please have patience I am brand new at this.
I wrote the first thing that came to mind.

The fortune read ; that wasn't chicken.
Do you think this may have helped Jessica Simpson?

For those of you who do not understand Jessica questioned if Tuna was chicken, after all, the can read "chicken of the sea"

I think she needs more help than is available in a fortune cookie. Clever post.

That's both hilarious and really sad at the same time. But I guess if you don't ask you'll never know, or something like that.

Hi Sheryl! I'm visiting via Tammy's site.
Nice to meet you and I look forward to reading more.

My husband questions this all the time when we order Chinese take out!

Welcome to Blogland, and to Sunday Scribblings. I think I'm missing something - not knowing who Jessica Simpson is! Need to go visit Google, I think! But the old "tastes like chicken" thing makes me think chicken must taste like everything or nothing!

reminds me of the mushroom which is called 'chicken of the woods'. not sure if the term implies blandness or ubiquity - maybe both - but what an abominable end to such a fine fish as a tuna - boiled and canned! :oP
